Genesis 41:43; Genesis 50:9; 1 Kings 4:26; Ezekiel 23:24; Acts 8:28; Revelation 9:9 . In Revelation 18:13 the word is ῥέδα, and some describe it as a vehicle with four wheels. The CHARIOT MAN in 2 Chronicles 18:33 is the driver, as in 1 Kings 22:34 . A CHARIOT OF FIRE and horses of fire appeared when Elijah was carried up into heaven. 2 Kings 2:11,12 . When the king of Syria sought to take Elisha at Dothan he was protected by invisible chariots of fire. 2 Kings 6:17 .
