or Leviticus 13:55 (c) Probably this represents the various aspects of sin. Sometimes things that are not wrong appear to be wrong; sometimes things that are wrong appear not to be wrong.
Numbers 11:7 (b) The Lord is informing us that both the value and the beauty of this manna was unexcelled, and was excellent for food. The manna changed its color in the eyes of the Israelites. That which was very attractive to them at the first became dull and unattractive at the last. So holy things may become common if they are handled carelessly. Compare the next verse with Exodus 16:31).
Isaiah 54:11 (b) This figure reveals how beautiful GOD will make the nation of Israel when he restores them to their full glory.
Ezekiel 16:16 (b) Here we see a type of the beauty and attraction that Israel made for themselves in order to invite heathen neighbors into their fellowship and fold.
Ezekiel 17:3 (b) This presents a description of the greatness and beauty of the King of Babylon who came to destroy Israel.
Acts 27:30 (b) The hypocritical acts of these sailors are represented as a color; as when a wax apple is colored red to make it appear to be a real apple.
