Zeno of Tarsus
1911 Encyclopedia Britannica
Stoic philosopher and pupil of Chrysippus, belonged to the period of the Middle Stoa. He appears to have accepted all the Stoic doctrines except that he denied the final conflagration of the universe (see Stoics).
