ib´har ( יבחר , yibhḥār , "He (God) chooses"; in Codex Sinaiticus, Codex Vaticanus, Ἐβεάρ , Ebeár , in Chronicles, Codex Vaticanus, Βαάρ , Baár ; Codex Alexandrinus, Ἰεβαάρ , Iebaár ): One of David's sons, born at Jerusalem; son of a wife and not of a concubine ( 1 Chronicles 3:6; 2 Samuel 5:15 ); otherwise unknown.
