bishop OF MARSEILLES in the first half of the 13th century, was one of the first Minorite Brothers, and also, it is said, a disciple of Francis of Assisi. In 1229 he was chosen arbitrator by the cardinal of San Angelo between the Marseilleans and the Monastery of St. Victor. He wrote a treatise entitled, De Summa Trinitate, etc. (published by Baluze in his Miscellanies, vol. vi). He undertook two journeys to Palestine, one in 1239, the other in 1261. See Hoefer, Nouv.
