Dagin, Francesco
Cyclopedia of Biblical, Theological and Ecclesiastical Literature
(called il Capella), an Italianῥ painter, was born at Venice in 1714, and studied under Giovanni Battista Piazzetta. He was elected a member of the Academy at Venice. One of his best works is St. George and the Dragon, in the parochial church of San Bonate, in Bergamo. He died in 1784.
