a Lutheran theologian of Germany, was born at Wetter, in Hesse, in 1577. He studied at Marburg, was in 1607 superintendent at Hildesheim, and died there, August 6, 1609, leaving, Disput. de Conciliis contra Rob. Bellarminum (Marburg, 1597): De Descensu Christi ad Inferos (ibid. 1599): De Spiritu Sancto (ibid. eod.): De Sanctae Trinitatis Mysterio (ibid. 1605): An Semel Justificati Spiritum Sanctum Amittere Possint (Giessen, 1607): An Christo θεανθρώπῳ Secundum Humanam Naturam dona Vere Divina et Infinita sint Collata?
