Cyclopedia of Biblical, Theological and Ecclesiastical Literature

(Heb. Gaddi', גִּדַּי ,fortunate; Sept. Γαδδί ), son of Susi, of the tribe of Manasseh, sent by Moses as the representative of that tribe among the twelve "spies," on their exploring tour through Canaan (Numbers 13:11). B.C. 1657.
