Cyclopedia of Biblical, Theological and Ecclesiastical Literature

a Jewish traveller, was born in 1830, and died at Jerusalem, June 23,1885. He visited Egypt, Arabia, India, and Australia; the results of his researches he published in אבן ספיר (1868, 1874, 2 volumes). This work is of great historical and ethnographical value.
