a Benedictine of the congregation of St. Maur, was born of a noble family in Champagne, at St. Dizier, about the beginning of the-17th century. He took. the vows at Rheims, March 22, 1636, and died Sept. 21, 1673, leaving Vita et Regula St. Benedicti Carminibus Expressce (Paris, 1662, 12mo): -Sacra Elogia SS. Ordinis S.
