Language Studies

Choose from 4 different language studiess freely available online at StudyLight.org to discover the themes of biblical thinking and not as a mere linguistic or lexicographical exercise.

The authors of the Bible did not write in English and since no translation is perfect we sometimes find two or more words in the original language can be translationed using the same English word without doing justice to the complexity of the original. Therefore word studies try to get at the thought process of the original authors and not just the meaning.
