Vocabulary of the Greek NT

This NT ἅπ. εἰρ., warranted from Polybius, is perhaps to be supplied in P Oxy I. 141.5 (A.D. 503) τοῖς ἀγροφύλαξ (ι) . . . φυλάττουσ (ι) τὸ ἀντιπελ ( ), with reference to guards who protected estates on the further bank (probably of the Baḥr Yusuf).
