יָצַק fut. יִצֹּק, pl. יִעְקוּ (once fut. E. וַיֵּצֶק 1 Kings 22:35 [in some copies], and there intransitive), imp. צַק 2 Kings 4:41, and יְצֹק Ezekiel 24:3 inf. צֶקֶת.

(1) to pour, to pour out, liquids, Genesis 28:18, 35:14 Exodus 29:7; 2 Kings 4:4 to cast metal, such as brass, Exodus 25:12, 26:37 36:36. Part. pass. יָצוּק cast, 1 Kings 7:24, 30 1 Kings 7:30 hence hard, firm, like cast metal, Job 41:15, 16 Job 41:16. Metaph. Psalms 41:9, דְּבַר בְּלִיַּעַל יָצוּק בּוֹ “a wicked purpose is poured out upon him.”

(2) to pour self out, to flow out, 1 Kings 22:35; Job 38:38, בְּצֶקֶת עָפָר לַמּוּצָק “where dust flows into a molten mass,” i.e. it becomes wet with rain water, like a molten mass.
