Combined these mean "tame for the yoke". An animal or land that is tamed has been worked and is complete and ready for use. (1)  a bride, maiden betrothed, so called from her being crowned with a chaplet, see כָּלַל No. 2. Song of Solomon 4:8, seq.; Jeremiah 2:32, 7:34 16:9 25:10. [Syr. ܟܰܠܬܐܳ pl. ܟܰܠ̈ܥܶ id.]
