(1) of a king of Judah 877-38 B. C., the son of Ahaziah, 2 Kings 12:1, 14:13 also spelled יוֹאָשׁ [Joash], ibid.; 11:2; 12:20.

(2) of a king of Israel 840-25 B. C. the son of Jehoahaz, -2 Kings 13:1025 ; also spelled contractedly יוֹאָשׁ ibid. verse 9. LXX Ἰωάς.
