עֲמֹרָה Gomorrha (LXX. Γομόῤῥα), pr.n. (perhaps i.q. عِمَارَةُ “culture,” “habitation” [“prob. depression”]), one of the four cities in the valley of Siddim, which were sunk in the Dead Sea, which is commonly mentioned together with Sodom, Genesis 10:19, 13:10.
