Vocabulary of the Greek NT

";supplicate on behalf of"; (Romans 8:26), does not seem to occur outside early Christian literature : cf. Clem. Alex. Paed. I. vi. 47, 4 (ed. Stählin). To the citations of ἐντυγχάνω (s.v. ἐντυγχάνω) we may add PSI IV. 340.5, 347.6, 353.4 (all iii/B.C.), and P Hamb I. 27.10 (B.C. 250) ἐπορεύθην πρὸς τὸν Φίλωνα εἰς τὴν Κοίτην καὶ ἐνέτυχον αὐτῶι περὶ τούτων, as illustrating further the wide reference of the verb in Late Greek.
