For this fut. we may cite from P Oxy VI.—929.22 (ii/iii A.D.) ̣ρ ̣εῖς δέ μοι ἐν τάχει περὶ τούτου, 932.3 (ii/iii/A.D.) ἐρῖ σοι δὲ Ἀπολινάρις πῶς τὰ θέματα καὶ τὰ δημόσια · τὸ ὄνομα ὃ ἂν αὐτός σοι εἴπῃ, ";Apolinarius will tell you how the deposits and public dues stand : the name will be that which he will tell you himself"; (Edd.); and for the perf. ib. 940.3 (v/A.D.) ὡς ἀνωτέρω εἴρηται, ";as stated above"; (Edd.). Cf. εἶπον and λέγω.
