מַהְפֵּכָה fem. (from the root הָפַךְ), overturning, overthrow, Deuteronomy 29:22 like verbals taking after it an accusative, as the case of its verb. Isaiah 13:19, כְּמַהְפֵּכַת אֱלֹהִים אֶת־סְדֹם “like the overthrow of Sodom by God.” Jeremiah 50:40; Amos 4:11.
