Qal Perfect 3 plural מָֽעֲדוּ 2 Samuel 22:37 = Psalm 18:37; Imperfect 3 feminine singular תִּמְעַד Psalm 37:31; אֶמְעָ֑ד Psalm 26:1; Participle plural construct מוֺעֲדֵי Job 12:5; — slip, subject feet, (figurative) 2 Samuel 22:37 = Psalm 18:37; Job 12:5; subject אֲשֻׁרָיו Psalm 37:31; compare Psalm 26:1.

Pu`al Participle מוּעָ֑דֶת ( = ׳מְמוּ Ges§ 53 s; or old

Qal Passive participle, — compare Ba NB 273; — but passive not needed here, read perhaps ׳מוֺ

Gesenius' Hebrew and Chaldee Definition

מָעַד to waver, to totter. Psalms 18:37, 26:1 37:31 Job 12:5, מוֹעֲדֵי רֶגֶל “whose foot tottereth.” Proverbs 25:19, רֶגֶל מוָּֽעדֶת “a tottering foot,” for מוֹעֶדֶת, וֹ shortened into וּ, compare Lehrg. p. 309. Others take מוּעֶדֶת as an abstr. noun, a tottering, of the form סוּגַר, עוּגָב, in fem.

Hiphil, to cause to totter, or shake, Psalms 69:24.
