 סְגוֺר noun [masculine] enclosure, encasement; — construct סְגוֺר לִבָּם Hosea 13:8 the encasement of their heart ( pericardium; i.e. their vitals). — סְגוֺר Job 28:15 must = fine gold, si vera lectio, but see סגר,

Qal. near the end; סְגֹר Psalm 35:3 see id., Qal 2b.

Gesenius' Hebrew and Chaldee Definition

סְגוֹר m. (from the root סָגַר).

(1)  a shutting up, an enclosure, Hosea 13:8, סְגוֹר לִבָּם “the enclosure of their heart,” i.e. præcordium.

(2)  Job 28:15 i.q. זָהָב סָגוּר, see סָגַר.

(3) As to the words, Psalms 35:3, see the root סָגַר.
