Now no shrub of the field was yet on the earth, and no plant of the field had yet sprouted, for the LORD God had not sent rain upon the earth, and there was no man to cultivate the ground.

And he spoke to Him yet again and said, "Suppose forty are found there?" And He said, "I will not do it on account of the forty."

Yet he strongly urged them, so they turned aside to him and entered his house; and he prepared a feast for them and baked unleavened bread, and they ate.

And she said, "Who would have said to Abraham that Sarah would nurse children? Yet I have given birth to a son in his old age."

"Yet your father has cheated me and changed my wages ten times; however, God did not allow him to do me harm.

So Jacob named the place Peniel, for he said, "I have seen God face to face, yet my life has been spared."

Then he had yet another dream, and informed his brothers of it, and said, "Behold, I have had yet another dream; and behold, the sun and the moon, and eleven stars were bowing down to me."

She gave birth to yet another son and named him Shelah; and it was at Chezib that she gave birth to him.

Yet the chief cupbearer did not remember Joseph, but forgot him.

"Yet when they had devoured them, it could not be detected that they had devoured them, for they were just as ugly as before. Then I awoke.

Moreover, Pharaoh said to Joseph, "Though I am Pharaoh, yet without your permission no one shall raise his hand or foot in all the land of Egypt."

Yet he said to them, "No, but you have come to look at the undefended parts of our land!"

Yet Joseph said to them, "It is as I said to you, you are spies;

Then they said to one another, "Truly we are guilty concerning our brother, because we saw the distress of his soul when he pleaded with us, yet we would not listen; for that reason this distress has happened to us."

Then the angel of the LORD appeared to him in a blazing fire from the midst of a bush; and he looked, and behold, the bush was burning with fire, yet the bush was not being consumed.

"There is no straw given to your servants, yet they keep saying to us, 'Make bricks!' And behold, your servants are being beaten; but it is the fault of your own people."

Yet Pharaoh's heart was hardened, and he did not listen to them, just as the LORD had said.
