Then Samuel took the horn of oil and ^(s)anointed him in the midst of his brothers; and ^(t)the Spirit of the Lord came mightily upon David from that day forward. And Samuel arose and went to Ramah.

^(u)Now the Spirit of the Lord departed from Saul, and ^(v)an evil spirit from the Lord terrorized him.

Saul's servants then said to him, "Behold now, an evil spirit from God is terrorizing you.

The Lord said to him, ‘How?' And he said, ‘I will go out and ^(q)be a deceiving spirit in the mouth of all his prophets.' Then He said, ‘You are to entice him and also prevail. Go and do so.'

For our ^(w)struggle is not against ^[e](x)flesh and blood, but ^(y)against the rulers, against the powers, against the ^(z)world forces of this ^(aa)darkness, against the ^(ab)spiritual forces of wickedness in ^(ac)the heavenly places.
