Psalms 108

1 A Song, A Psalm of David. My heart is fixed, O God; I will sing, yes, I will sing praises, even with my glory.2 Awake, psaltery and harp: I myself will awake the dawn.3 I will give thanks to you, O Yahweh, among the peoples; And I will sing praises to you among the nations.4 For your loving-kindness is great above the heavens; And your truth [reaches] to the skies.5 Be exalted, O God, above the heavens, And your glory above all the earth.

6 That your beloved may be delivered, Save with your right hand, and answer me.7 God has spoken in his holiness: I will exult; I will divide Shechem, and mete out the valley of Succoth.8 Gilead is mine; Manasseh is mine; Ephraim also is the defense of my head; Judah is my scepter.9 Moab is my washpot; On Edom I will cast my shoe; Over Philistia I will shout.10 Who will bring me into the fortified city? Who has led me to Edom?11 Haven't you cast us off, O God? And you don't go forth, O God, with our hosts.12 Give us help against the adversary; For vain is the help of man.13 Through God we shall do valiantly: For it is he that will tread down our adversaries.
