"That day": often the equivalent of "the day of the Lord" Isaiah 2:10-22; Revelation 19:11-21. The prophecy here passes from the general to the particular, from historic and fulfilled judgments upon Assyria to the final destruction of all Gentile world-power at the return of the Lord in glory.
