1 God, after He spoke R1 long ago to the fathers in the R2 prophets in many portions and in R3 many ways, 2 in R4F1 these last days has R5 spoken to us in F2 His R6 Son, whom He appointed heir R7 of all things, through R8 whom also He made the world. R9F33 And F4 He is the radiance of His glory and the exact representation R10 of His nature, and upholds R11F5 all things by the word of His power. When He had made purification R12 of sins, He sat R13 down at the right hand of the Majesty R14 on high, 4 having become as much better than the angels, as He has inherited a more excellent name R15 than they.
5 For to which of the angels did He ever say,
"YOU R16 ARE MY SON,
TODAY I HAVE BEGOTTEN YOU"?
And again,
"I R17 WILL BE A FATHER TO HIM
AND HE SHALL BE A SON TO ME"? 6 And when F6 He again brings R18 the firstborn into the R19F7 world, He says,
"AND R20 LET ALL THE ANGELS OF GOD WORSHIP HIM." 7 And of the angels He says,
"WHO R21 MAKES HIS ANGELS WINDS,
AND HIS MINISTERS A FLAME OF FIRE." 8 But of the Son He says,"YOUR R22 THRONE, O GOD, IS FOREVER AND EVER,
AND THE RIGHTEOUS SCEPTER IS THE SCEPTER OF HIS F8 KINGDOM.
9 "YOU R23 HAVE LOVED RIGHTEOUSNESS AND HATED LAWLESSNESS;
