PRAISE the LORD. Praise the LORD from the heavens; praise him in the heights.

Praise him, all his angels; praise him, all his hosts.

Praise him, sun and moon; praise him, all stars and light.

Praise him, heavens of heavens, and waters that are above the heavens.

Let them praise the name of the LORD; for he spoke and they were made, he commanded and they were created.

He has also established them for ever and ever; he has made a decree which shall not pass.

Praise the LORD from the earth, you great serpents and all deeps;

Fire and hail, snow and ice, stormy wind fulfilling his word,

Mountains and all hills, fruitful trees and all cedars,

Wild beasts and all cattle, creeping things and flying fowl,

Kings of the earth and all people, princes and all judges of the earth,

Both boys and maidens, old men and young men, let them praise the name of the LORD;

For his name alone is excellent; his glory is on earth and in heaven.

He also exalts the horn of his people, the praise of all his saints; even of the children of Israel, a people near to him. Praise the LORD.

PRAISE the LORD. Sing to the LORD a new song, and his praise in the congregation of saints.

Let Israel rejoice in him that made him; let the children of Zion be joyful in their King.

Let them praise his name with the timbrel and psaltery; let them sing praises to him with the harps.

For the LORD takes pleasure in his people; he has given salvation to the poor.

Let the righteous become mighty in glory; let them glorify him upon their beds.

Let them exalt God with their throats, and with a two-edged sword in their hand,

To execute vengeance upon the heathen, and punishments upon the peoples,

To bind their kings with fetters and their nobles with chains of iron.

To execute upon them the judgment that is written; and give glory to all his saints. Praise the LORD.

PRAISE the LORD. Praise God in his sanctuary; praise him in the firmament of his power.

Praise him for his mighty acts; praise him according to his excellent greatness.

Praise him with the sound of the trumpet; praise him with the psaltery and harp.

Praise him with timbrel and pipe; praise him with sweet stringed instruments.

Praise him upon loud cymbals; praise him with a mighty song.

Let every thing that has breath praise the LORD. Praise the LORD.
