Neballat
Holman Bible Dictionary
(nih bal' luht) Place name perhaps meaning, “blessed with life.” The name perhaps derives from Nabu-uballit, the personal name of an Assyrian governor of Samaria. Neballat was resettled by Benjaminites after the Exile (Nehemiah 11:34 ). The site is identical with modern Beit Nebala on the edge of the plain of Sharon about four miles east of Lod.
