Noon
Holman Bible Dictionary
The middle of the day, specifically twelve o'clock noon. Noon is frequently associated with death and destruction (2 Samuel 4:5; 1 Kings 20:16; 2 Kings 4:20; Psalm 91:6; Jeremiah 6:4; Jeremiah 15:8; Jeremiah 20:16; Zephaniah 2:4 ). Noon is also associated with blessings and vindication (Job 11:17; Psalm 37:6; Isaiah 58:10 ).
