Holman Bible Dictionary
(oh' muhr) 1. Unit of dry measure equal to one tenth of an ephah or a little more than two quarts (Exodus 16:13-36 ). See Weights and Measurements. 2. First sheaf (omer) of the barley harvest which was elevated as an offering (Leviticus 23:9-15 ). See Sacrifice and Offerings.
