Zophim
Holman Bible Dictionary
(zoh' fihm) Place name meaning, “watchers” or common noun meaning, “the Field of the Watchers” (REB) or lookout post. It was a high place at “the top of Pisgah,” near the northeastern end of the Dead Sea. Balak took Baalim there to curse the Israelites (Numbers 23:14 ).
