(died 664) Abbot, Bishop of the East Saxons, born Northumbria, England; died Lastingham, England. He was educated with his brother Saint Chad (Ceadda) at Lindisfarne under Saint Aidan. He was engaged in missionary work among Middle Angles and the East Saxons. In 654 he was consecrated Bishop of the East Saxons at London.
