Crime of certain kinds is a diriment impediment to matrimony. It may be a conspiracy between a wife and a man, resulting in the murder of the woman's husband, or vice versa, with the intention that the guilty parties may marry; or adultery, with the intention of marrying after the husband's or wife's death; or a combination of both crimes for the same end.
