Child of a ruler of the synagogue, whom Our Lord raised to; life (Mark 5). "He saith to her: Talitha cumi, which is being interpreted: Damsel (I say to thee) arise." This is one of the few cases in whieh the Bible gives the words of Our Lord as He spoke them in His mother tongue.
