Breeches
Holman Bible Dictionary
Priestly garments made of linen covering the thighs for reasons of modesty. They were worn by the high priest on the Day of Atonement and by other priests on other ceremonial occasions (Exodus 28:42; Exodus 39:28; Leviticus 6:10; Leviticus 16:4; Ezekiel 44:18 ). The garment ensured that priests fulfilled the commandment in Exodus 20:26 .
