Holman Bible Dictionary
(jih ryoo' ehl) Place name meaning, “foundation of God.” Place where Jahaziel, the prophet, predicted King Jehoshaphat and his army would find the Ammonite and Moabite army. The exact location is not known. It was on the rugged descent southeast of Tekoa going to En-Gedi.
