Karnaim
Holman Bible Dictionary
(kahr nay ihm) Place name meaning, “horns.” A city in northern Transjordan. The same as Ashteroth-karnaim and Ashtaroth. Amos used the name of this city and that of Lo-Debar to make a word play (Amos 6:13 ). See Ashtaroth; Lo-Debar (for the details of the word play).
