Our Lady of the Pillar

1910 New Catholic Dictionary

A celebrated church in Baroque style (1681), and a shrine at Saragossa, Spain, containing a miraculous image of the Blessed Virgin, the object of very special devotion throughout the kingdom. The image stands on a marble pillar and was crowned, 1905, with a crown designed by the Marquis of Grilli.
