(Strong's #2687 — Verb — katastello — kat-as-tel'-lo )

"to quiet" (lit., "to send down," kata, "down," stello, "to send"), in the Passive Voice, "to be quiet, or to be quieted," is used in Acts 19:35,36 , in the former verse in the Active Voice, AV, "appeased;" RV, "quieted;" in the latter, the Passive, "to be quiet" (lit., 'to be quieted').
