(Strong's #2950 — Noun Neuter — kumbalon — koom'-bal-on )

"a cymbal," was so called from its shape (akin to kumbos, "a hollow basin," kumbe, "a cup"), and was made of bronze, two being struck together, 1 Corinthians 13:1 .
