Vine's Expository Dictionary of NT Words
is rendered "embolden" in 1 Corinthians 8:10 , in reference to blameworthy actions (see marg.), the delinquent being built up, so to speak, to do what is contrary to his conscience. See BUILD , EDIFICATION.
