Enmity
Vine's Expository Dictionary of NT Words
from the adjective echthros (see ENEMY) is rendered "enmity" in Luke 23:12; Romans 8:7; Ephesians 2:15,16; James 4:4; "enmities," Galatians 5:20 , RV , for AV, "hatred." It is the opposite of agape, "love."
