Vine's Expository Dictionary of NT Words
"to will, wish," is translated by the verb "to list" in Matthew 17:12; Mark 9:13; John 3:8 . See DESIRE , B, No. 6.
"to will, be minded," is translated "listeth" in James 3:4 (RV, "willeth"). See DESIRE , B, No. 7.
