Vine's Expository Dictionary of NT Words
"to vomit" (cp. Eng., "emetic"), is used in Revelation 3:16 , figuratively of the Lord's utter abhorrence of the condition of the church at Laodicea. In the Sept., Isaiah 19:14 .
