Adjutage

1911 Encyclopedia Britannica

(from Fr. ajutage, from ajouter, to join on; an older English form was "adjustage"), a mouthpiece or nozzle, so formed as to facilitate the outflow of liquids from a vessel or pipe. (See HYDRAULICS.)
