a Unitarian minister, was born in Royalston, Mass., in 1794. He was educated in Wilton, N. H., and at Harvard College, where he graduated in 1818, and subsequenltly at the Theological School at Cambridge. In 1825 he became pastor of the Twelfth Congregational Society, and for a time edited the Christian Register. In 1860 he retired to Roxbury, where he resided till his death, June 24, 1866, thoulgh for some time previous to his demise he served as Unitarian pastor in Boston.
