(Βασσά v. r. Βασσαί ), one of the Israelitish family-heads whose "sons" (to the number of 323) returned from the captivity (1 Esdras 5:16); evidently the BEZAI (See BEZAI) (q.v.) of the genuine texts (Ezra 2:17; Nehemiah 7:23).
