Beattie, Matthew
Cyclopedia of Biblical, Theological and Ecclesiastical Literature
a Presbyterian minister, was born in 1786, and ordained as minister of the congregation of Dunscore, Scotland, in 1817. He died June 23, 1858. See Wilson, Presb. Hist. Almanac, 1860, p. 271.
