Beaver (Or Bever), John

(called also Biever, and in Latin Fiber, Fiberius, Castor, and Castorius), a Benedictine monk of the abbey of Westminster, lived near the commencement of the 14th century. He wrote, a Chronicle of the affairs of England, from Brutus down to his own time: De Rebus Canobii Westmonasteriensis. These two works, often cited by the English historians, are still unpublished.
