a French theologian, was born at Dijon, Feb. 15, 1652. He was a priest of the Oratory, and zealously devoted himself to the work of the ministry and to teaching theology at Langres and at Chalons-sur-Saone. He died at Dijon, May 26, 1722. He wrote a number of works, among which ate, Conferences Ecclesiastiques du Diocese de Langres (1684): — Manuel des Pecheurs (1696): — Homilies (1703): — Nouveaux Panegyriques, avec Quelques Conferences Ecclesiastiques (1707; Lyons, 1713).
